This morning, I read a newspaper article. It really made my blood boiled. Cant believe there's such kind of people in this world. People always say parents will never harm their children. But many a times, we always saw news regarded father or mother killing dumping their newly bored child, or father raping their own daughters. And guess what? This story is really very sad...
A drunkard man came home and had a heated argument with his wife who was carrying a 10 month old baby girl. And beside them were many barrels of boiling water of noodles. The father of the child became so irrational that he threw his child into the boiling water after provoked by his wife. The wife was so shocked that she quickly rescue her daughter up. The water was boiling at very very high temperature. And the little baby girl was crying miserably due to the pain caused. And so the mother run her daughter's wound under cold water. And she peeled her daughter's clothes that were wet. But to her dismay as she was peeling the clother off the fresh, the fresh of the daughter sticked onto the clothes. So apparently, the mother was peeling her clothes together with her skin... And hence, they bought her to the hospital. It was reported that the child's pain is 10 times that of giving birth... Oh my god. Can u imagine that? A 10 month old baby suffering because of his father's irrationality. His father was caught by the police and he regretted for what he did. But I guessed it's already too late... It was also reported that the little baby girl had 95% of her skin burned and she was brained dead. Hence, her situation is in critical state. Really feel very sad to read such news.
On a side note, to all my friends who are having examinations, Good luck and Jiayou! Never say die!

Finally, everything is over. I had finished my university education formally. I feel really glad that it's over and now my next journey of life has jus begun... This feeling sucks. Starting something is always the most difficult... And I really admit that it's difficult and tough. Up till now there's still no interviews for me despite sending in lots of resume. I really feel so lousy at times. Was jus wondering if my resume is really that bad or not or because i'm not lucky at all... But I will keep my spirit high as I search for more job opportunities. Never give up!
Anywhere, something happened recently. It's kind of interesting. Din expect that. On Tuesday, Xf and I went to Plaza Singapura to eat the Gelare Waffles. So nice. I always like to go during wkdays as there's lesser people. I don't really like shopping centres to be so congested. After our high tea, we decided to head for the Ayam Penyet stall at Lucky Plaza. As we walked out of Plaza Singapura, we saw a little cute boy in scouts uniform. He's so cute. He is asking people for donation but at the same time rendering some service to them in the form of shoe polishing. We saw him looking very dejected as many people rejected him. So we walked towards him and decided to donate some money without having our 'slippers' polished. But he said slippers can also be polished. So he asked xf to take off one of his slippers to polish. And I was there busy using my camera to take pictures of him and xf. That was funny as we had neva been in this situation before. At the same time, xf was engaging in small talks with the little boy... So cute! He asked him what school he was from... But before we can react, the little boy took xf's slipper and run towards Plaza Singapura shopping centre. We both were shocked and surprised. So I chased after the boy and I could not find him as he was hiding around the pillars. And so all of our emotions were being filmed by a video camera hidden in one of the booth near the area. And we were told we were on tv jus now. Oh my god... Cant believe right? "Just for laughs" haha. We heard from them that all these will be screened only next yr... Erm. So long...
These are the pictures I took!

Enjoy!

At this time in your life you feel like 'giving up'. For every time you have tried to build up your hopes and dreams something has come along to burst the balloon. You may feel that, at this particular moment in your life, there seems to be no chance of fulfilling these dreams but you are so wrong. You are the sort of person that can influence any situation, that is - If you don't give up. So consciously make the effort... You have that inherent power to succeed.
You are a very warm and emotional individual but unfortunately in the past too many people have taken advantage of this sensitive trait. You need aesthetic surroundings, or an equally sensitive and understanding partner with whom to share a warm understanding.
Everything seems to have gone wrong and the situation at this time is such that you are not quite sure which way to turn. So it would appear that you are 'holding back', re-consolidating your position and relinquishing all fun and games for the time being.
Your willpower and stamina are in danger of being overwhelmed by excessive stress. Your resilience and tenacity have become weakened. You are feeling overtaxed, worn out and getting nowhere: but you continue to stand your ground. You feel that this unfavourable situation is an encumbrance which you could well do without and you find yourself unable to make the necessary decisions at this particular moment in time to change anything.
The tensions and stresses that you are experiencing at this time are, you feel, beyond your capabilities or your reserves of strength to cope with. You feel inadequate and in a constant state of anxiety. You are attempting to escape from this situation into a secure environment in which you may be permitted to relax and recover, free from outside interference.
This website that ling had recommended is interesting. Haha. I tink it's really accurate. Back to FYP!!! Busy busy busy. 1 week more to the end of FYP. Hang on there!

School has jus started. And this is my final semester in NTU NBS. It's kind of mixed feelings for me. I'm sad that I'm graduating soon and I can no longer enjoy the privilege of being a student. Besides that, the job market for now is not as desirable. Many companies are cutting costs and wages. Some even have job freeze. So it's really hard to find my dream job. I'm feeling happy that I'm graduating is also because I can finally nt feel the stress in school. I can free myself from studying textbooks, reading research articles that are difficult to comprehend or listening to boring lectures. Ya. But i guess i'll really miss school a lot.
I had barely started attending any lesson. Yet i'm so busy with school work. Oh man! Tt's all due to my Final Year Project. I had been sending out emails and pestering my frens for contacts so that I can approach companies to help me with my project. Sigh... I just hope tt some kind soul can really help us out. Cos it's our final semester. Without this set of data, we cant graduate. Sigh... Desperate already. And bcos of this fyp and sch stuff, I'm getting easily short tempered. I jus dunno y. I snapped easily even though it's jus a small thing. But it jus trigger me off. And a lot of things is just nt gg the right way tt i wan it to be. So i jus feel so frustrated these days. Had quarrels at home and had been complaining to xf n my frens a lot. I jus hope everything will end soon...
Showing appreciation is a good gesture. Hope i am neva neglected.

Merry Xmas!!! Yeah! It's Xmas again. This year Xmas was a bit different from the previous years especially during Xmas eve. Cos every year Xmas eve I'll be at home slacking and doing nth. This year I had lots of fun with my clique of frens. Anfer had booked a Chalet with his frens and had invited us (ling, chen, simon, hk, wy, xf & me) to his chalet for bbq. It was really raining the whole of yest so was kinda of in sleepy mood. The weather has definitely dampened our moood when it was raining heavily when we reached Pasir Ris Mrt at 6 plus. We were supposed to go for bbq so we were jus wondering how we cld start the fire and cook our food... Tt's kind of a challenge ba. As we braved through the weather with our umbrellas (one of which has SHE photos imprinted... haha), we saw a lot of brave ppl causing umbrellas while bbqing their food. I'm sure the weather had not ruined their mood in bbqing. haha. The smell of bbq chicken, otah, juicy prawns was everywhere. As we reached Anfer's chalet, we were stunned to see a lot of ppl already in the room playing card games and mahjong. This left us with little space for the 8 of us. Only the toilet... But anfer's frens were kind enough to make some space for us to settle down in the cosy room... It was really fun playing card games with this grp of frens... haha. Laughed a lot and ate a lot too... Den we had our Xmas gift exchange. And I had gotten Anfer's present. It was some body gel and scrub thingy from body shop. Erm. And he used newspaper to wrap the present... haha. It was close to 11pm tt all of us decided to stay over at anfer's chalet. Din catch any beauty slp. I can really say we were really good... We did not sleep till like 5am in the morning... haha. But when i reached home, I sleep like a log la... Slept the whole morning and afternoon. Even now, I'm still feeling like i'm in lalaland... haha... Thanks guys and gals for the wonderful Xmas eve! Really enjoyed a lot! Thanks for all the Xmas wishes and presents! Meet up soon!

It was a very beautiful wednesday morning. I woke up exceptionally early (at 7am)... Tt's bcos i'm gg to batam!!! Was excited abt the trip ever since min told me tt they had lots if fun during their 3D2N at Harris Batam. So my mum, bro and I set off early to meet xf at the Harborfront control station. He was early too. We went to collect our tix but had to wait for a long time due to the long queue. Almost miss the ferry as it was on last call when we arrive at the departure hall. Luckily, we managed to catch the ferry... Tt's was close. It was my first time taking a ferry to Indonesia. Initially, I felt very uncomfortable. Cos i had motion sickness. But everything went on fine. Finally I reached Batam and the shuttle bus came to pick us up. There were many people waiting for the bus too. In the end, we took the 3rd shuttle bus to Harris Resort. The Waterfront terminal was very near to Harris resort. It took us less than 5 minutes to reach there. We were served with warm towel and Bandung drink and given a Batam map as we arrived at the Resort. The Harris personnel were all very friendly and warm towards us. After registering our details at the counter and handing our lugguages to them, we went ard for sightseeing... The place looked awesome. I like the swimming pool!!! So we started Bowling as our 1st activity at Harris. We were very high encouraging each other to strike... haha.
It was when we started our 2nd activities that everything went haywire. We went to the counter to enquire abt the go kart. The Harris personnel was good enough to send us to the place. But it din turn up too well in the end. Cos as we r done with go kart-ing, the bus went without us. So we tot they will come soon. But we waited in vain. In the end, we called Harris 4 times and waited for 45 mins b4 the bus came to fetch us. I was damn pissed off at tt time. Cos with tt wasted 45 mins, we can go and do other recreation activities such as Sauna and Jacuzzi. Hence, we had a very rush lunch b4 we headed for Nagoya trip... The trip was so sian. The shopping mall is so boring... Diao... I tot it wld be sth special. No... Singapore has better shopping centres!!! Left with no other places to go, we decided to settle down at a Coffee and Bread cafe. The buns and coffee were not tt fantansic... Bo bian. We need some where to take a break fr walking...
We arrived at the Resort at ard 6 plus (Batam time). So we went to check in to our rooms. Diao. The counter personnel were so disorganised... Changed our room no and they din even give us rooms tt are side by side... erm. Nvm. We went into our rooms to unload our lugguages and also to freshen up a bit b4 gg for our dinner feast at Golden Prawn. We took the cab for 45 mins b4 arriving there. The taxi driver speaks Indonesian Malay so there were times we dun understand wat he said. But he was quite good. And finally, I can use the words I had learnt in Malay Language 1 to communicate le. haha. Tt's was really an accomplishment. Though they were word by word and nt in full sentences. But nvm. At least the taxi uncle understand and i can understand a bit of wat he said.
At Golden Prawn, we ordered Black pepper crabs, butter prawns, claypot toufu, Deep fried sotong, some vegetables (kailan). Cost us ard S$60. So each person ard $15. Erm. The prawns and crab were actually were small... The place was rather windy and nice to chill out but i tink the food was ok. Xf had wanted to bring us to another place for dinner which is very near Nayoya town. But he said it's in hawker centre and is in tze char style. So we went Golden Prawn instead. He said Windsor hawker centre's food will definitely taste better and is even cheaper. Ok... I dunno if tt's the case. But having travelled 45
minutes to Golden prawn for dinner, the dishes did disappoint me:(
The day past very fast. Soon we r back in the resort. Cldnt really slp at nite. Not cos i'm excited. I'm quite dead beat. But bcos the people in the next room were very noisy... I guess they r all too excited le ba. So they were laughing and talking very loudly. Had wanted to make a complaint but din do tt. Was lazy to do so...
The next day we went to do spa... Haha. The long awaited finale... We took Aromatic Relaxing treatment spa. My bro and xf were in one small hut and my mum and I were in the hut beside them... The little hut had 2 beds, a washing basin, a shower area dna a bath tub. But the hut was not totally opaque. It's translucent. So scared tt ppl fr outside can see us. As soon as we familiarise ourselves in the hut, the massages ladies told us to undress ourselves and wore only disposable panties. Erm. It's kind of weird as it's the first time i'm naked in front of somebody who is a total stranger to me... However, I must say the massangers were really good... They did a body scrub and a body massage on us. It was so comfortable tt i fell asleep during the body massage when i'm actually naked. haha. Den at last, we had a jacuzzi bath at the bath tub. haha. So i actually bathed thrice on tt day... But my skin is very smooth le. keke.
After the spa, we went back to our hotel room to pack our stuff and take pictures b4 checking out. We were told tt the shuttle bus will come at 2pm to fetch us to the Terminal. So we really took our time taking photos, drink coffee and slacking... Din really tink too much abt the time needed to check out. The personnel even told us tt the bus was waiting for us since 150 but we were told tt the bus will only come at 2pm. Tt's like ... As we checked out of the hotel, we were untold abt the boarding pass to take the ferry. In the end, the Harris Personnel had to drive to and fro back to the hotel to collect our pass... We tot we cldnt catch the ferry cos it's 10min away fr the boarding time and we still have not even check in. However, we managed to board the ferry... Tt was really close. On the ferry, I had sea sick... Super jialat. Really cldnt take it so I had to close my eyes and breathe in and out often to relax myself. Finally, I reached Singapore!!! I love Singapore. I tink i'm really fortunate to stay in Singapore.
Din really enjoy very much during this whole batam trip. I tot probably it's due to short stay (only 2D1N). It wld be better if it's a 3D2N den it wun be so rush. There were also many hiccups along the way. So i'm din really enjoy the trip... Nvm. At least it's an experience for me... My first overseas trip wif my dear :)
Back to Singapore... It's so nice to be at home. Everything is so systematic and clean. The roads are bright and lighted with lamp posts. There are no children selling newspapers to on going cars. So ke lian... Shall not think abt it. Cos there are other stuff to think abt ba. FYP!!! Sian!
Relaxing ~
